... a few interesting spots. We went to Old Al Ula, which is the biblical city of Dedan. Here, there are around 500 mud brick houses, all crumbling for lack of preservation. It was quite interesting to walk and crawl around the ancient town with it's mud-covered thatched roofing and thick palm doors. ...in my opinion this was the greatest day of our trip to Saudi Arabia :-) We visited the Nabataean Tombs in Madain Saleh, the Saudi Arabian counterpart of Petra, Jordan.
