Only downside to this place is the shared bathrooms, they are clean and there is one on every floor but it seems everytime I want to use it someone is on there. Pro's are that it is walking distance to the city, if you dont mind a slightly longer walk. It is close to internet cafe's and laundry. Great friendly staff too

First stop on Australian soil

We arrived at the airport at 10am local time after our 11 hour flight from Shanghai, nothing too exciting happened on the plane we both watched a film and the tried to catch some shut eye to keep the jet lag away. We took the Sydney shuttle bus from …
Christmas Day
Christmas Day
For my first Christmas day abroad and away from my family, we went to Taronga Zoo with Mol's parents, it was brilliant. We had the best day's weather during our time in Sydney too!
We started by getting the ferry across the harbour over to Taronga, another pretty smooth ride on the ferry and we also got to see the …
Sydney , London in the sun .
We finally got to Australia and arrived into Sydney on a beautiful hot sunny morning. It was so weird having spent so many months in Asia, all the pale faces, and all the signs in English.
Our hotel was near Kings Cross, something like O'Connell street crossed with Londons Soho, sleazy, violent and full of wino’s and junkies, we …
