... Hotel, built back in 1887. It has the worlds largest porch and the only way to get inside is to be a registered guest or pay $10 a person. After six, men must be wear a coat and tie and woman must be in a dress. The cheapest room during the summer is over $600 per night!! Guess we won't be staying at the Grand.
This is a neat island with lots of tourists like us and a great way to spend a sunny day!

... is on Lake Huron, and is really the dividing point between the upper peninsula and the lower peninsula of Michigan. We have now seen Lake Superior, Lake Michigan and Lake Huron.
We are having a wonderful trip, the dogs are having fun and the truck and the camper are doing great!!

... intended campground, north of the town centre by a mile or two, and the owners were a wonderful older couple married some 54 years-- still laughing and having fun. The internet was amazing so we caught up our games and even skyped and then decided to walk into town to find a pizza place on the map, maybe 40 minute walk to and from downtown and delicious pizza ...
