Wind night
... into the cars. On our way we ran into some peak hour traffic, but it wasn’t cars it was highland cattle. There was a heap of them and heaps of babies too just casually walking down the road we were on.. We got out took about a million photos. Im wunderschönen Wohnzimmer bei Liz und Michael genossen wir ein vorzügliches Frühstück. Die beiden gesellten sich zu uns und wir sprachen über Gott und die Welt. Sie attestierten uns sogar ein „your English is very good"; was für eine Adelung und dies erst noch von gebürtigen Engländern! Exceeded Rogers expectations !!!!
... and thought this is easy average speed 13.5mph. Disappointed at J.OG. as there was no signs out and no one in the little booth to put them out for you so we took a few photos and had a coffee. We talked to 3 cyclist that had just finished and then we headed off to Thurso, Cycle route 1, this is well signposted and uses the old road which runs parallel with the new main road. Haggis in the Highlands
... We stopped at one lonely crumbling tower called Ardvreck Castle. It is said ghosts haunt the 16th century ruin. One is the daughter of a clan Macleod Chiefton, who supposedly threw herself from the tower after making a pact with the Devil.
