DAY 51 – May 2, 2015
Another case of location, location, location.
Itea is small resort city with a pleasant waterfront area but only 'pebble' beaches ... but the backdrop is spectacular. Snow-capped mountains and villages clinging to the sides of those mountains .... and one of them is Delphi.
When you first arrive in Delphi you think you arriving in an Alpine ski village.
It's a lovely morning with the valley filled with cloud and the mountains in the sunshine, we could just see the peak of mount Olympus with a heavy covering of snow catching the early morning sun shine. It's quite unusual for the top not to have cloud on it, according to our guide book, so we feel lucky to have seen it. I'm back! Really been trying to test my power lately, thought I'd give myself a little challenge. So I just snuck into Apollo's farm, totally managed to steal his entire herd without him knowing! When they started moving i saw their hoof marks in the ground pointing right to me, and we couldn't have that now could we. So, in a stroke of genius, I put their hoofs backwards! So now no one knows where they could've gone! Ha! Good luck Apollo, I totally outdid myself here!
