... local bus for only 1.6 Euro whereas many tour groups at Philipi would have paid a tour company many times more. I enjoyed asking locals where to catch the bus and getting a cheap bite to eat at a family restaurant in the village near Philipi.

Today we arrived in Katakolon in Greece. It was a beautiful Mediterranean seaside town. We stopped at a little cafe and had Greek beers and used their wifi. We then decided to a scenic walk. Another early start (poor us) and off to the historical site of Olympia where they held the original Olympics. It was a wonderful day, we learned a lot, and it's great to be able to walk around and touch some really really old stuff. By the time we left the town had been flooded with tourists from other ships. When we got back to the boat, I rinsed off in a cold shower and we went to read on the deck.
