Reasonable good hotel. Nice to have sheets and blankets instead of doona. Toilet flush is a bit hit and miss. Food seems to be quite good.

My attention was immediately distracted by the sudden announcement over the loudspeaker system…. that the Yacht Missisles was about to arrive with Natasha Lambert at the helm.

Natasha Lambert, 16, was born with atheroid cerebral palsy, which affects her limbs and confines her to a wheelchair. In July, Natasha sailed from her hometown …

      ... winter
trip, and we had a great time, although I think we were a bit unlucky to catch a spell of not such good weather. We have learnt a lot, like the areas which we like best and which places are likely to get consistently dry warm weather. We tried lots of different campsites and now have an idea which sort best suit our needs.
We enjoyed our month away and will probably do it again next year, bur most likely for a bit longer...... !

Awoke to find nature was determined we knew the reason we were heading south. The garden looked pristine in it's white blanket of overnight snow and I had the doubtful pleasure of clearing an inch of snow from the car before use.

Although this is the 'first' day of our holiday our taxi for the airport is not booked until 18.00 hrs for our 22.00 hrs flight so the day is really one of last minute panics like 'did I pack that?' ...

It was up bright and early today to get to the airport for our 7.30 flight. The journey flew by as we had strong tailwinds so got back in under 7 hours. We arrived home with just enough time to unpack before bed and at a time that should mean we won't suffer any jet lag! Another trip ...

... friends for the night. Butch and Ally have found a piece of English paradise transforming an ancient farmhouse and stables into something beautiful that has retained the original character while taking care of all the modern comforts.

Unfortunately, customs didn't detect a bug Kim collected somewhere in Paris, so as it made its presence felt tonight, she was not up to a meal ...
