Reasonable good hotel. Nice to have sheets and blankets instead of doona. Toilet flush is a bit hit and miss. Food seems to be quite good.

Unfortunately a sudden lurching movement of the ship ended up with all of George's tray sliding off the table all over me and onto the floor. The evening was spent as usual eating and ...

I say "today's" but when complete we will be on our way across the English Channel towards the Bay of Biscay so this will not be published until we reach Lisbon and find free Wifi. The Wifi connection on the boat is not very fast or reliable and that we are not ...

      Day 7 - Travelling Home

A travel blog entry by mattrobinson on Dec 13, 2013

It was up bright and early today to get to the airport for our 7.30 flight. The journey flew by as we had strong tailwinds so got back in under 7 hours. We arrived home with just enough time to unpack before bed and at a time that should mean we won't suffer any jet lag! Another trip ...
