We would still be there if I didn't stand up in the middle of it all and say goodbye [don't worry I was reasonably diplomatic]. Then we had to get some biscuits (well Flynn did) from the lady across the road. She even smiled. Gaetano came up to say goodbye and all the nonas turned out to wave us ...

... everywhere you look -- from the medieval, cobble-stoned streets, the chiesas (churches) and castles, ceramics and arts, to the mountains and sea!

Food, conference, accommodation all included in my 500Euros registration for the week. The food was a pleasant surprise -- each one a two-course meal of local cuisine with different restaurants. I love seafood and there's no shortage in Sicily!
