... from all around the world, it was a bit depressing to see so many animals stuffed & mounted - a real eye opener. After that we went and looked around the castle - like a lot of places you aren't allowed to take photos inside, they want you to buy the book ( and we did ). The castle is still owned by the family, that shows how much money is still in the family, normally they hand the properties over to the national trust because they can't afford to keep running them

I took a paid Rabbies two day tour up to Inverness and back after Glasgow. There was a lot of beautiful scenery and stops along the way.

We went on a short hike at one of the first stops to where a few of the tallest trees in the UK, it's hard to see in the photos but the trees are absolutely massive, the tallest ones being over 200ft ...

Another beautiful sunny day greeted us this morning.John and Benjamin had to take their hire car back, so they left the flat before the rest of us. Greg and I left before Claire and Nathanael, as Greg was looking a little hirsute, so we decided to pop into a barber on the way to the station.
