On the move again. We had seen a lot of the area around Ullapool during our stay but had actually not spent any time in the town itself so this was our first port of call before hitting the road. It is really little more than a couple of streets which line the port but is very pretty. The harbour is full of fishing vessels and the area surrounded by mountains. ... at their publishing business taking inventory of books coming in and preparing orders for outgoing (making money) shipments. After an hour and a couple of screw ups, we were fired. Just in time, preventing Paul from declaring bankruptcy. Whoever said foresters could count? After lunch we headed into downtown Aviemore for some shopping (Marks idea) and to pick up some Scottish pounds. They don't use Euros and when we go to England ...
... Right when Isabel and I were both losing steam, breakfast was served in the castle and we regained our strength and danced the night away until 4 am when we sang Auld Lang Syne and got outta there. Overall, a wonderful weekend with wonderful people. I missed Dublin though! Good signs, I think.
This week should be boringboringboring as I have a couple papers to write and no money left.

Today we drive to the Isle of sky, First we have a nice little breakfast to get us going. Then off to the loch ness visitor center . After a look at the center we are off again. Heading South now, we drove the three hours to Perth, passing through the Cairngnorm National Park.
The first part of the drive was nice; the landscape almost beautiful in its desolation, before hitting the boring highways again where the afternoon came rolling in on bad weather.
