A travel blog entry by pwassell on Jan 05, 2014

Early flight this morning to Male. When I say early, it was 09:35. So we got up at 6:30 to check out and take the 5 minute taxi ride to the airport. It's just over the road, however they don't cater for pedestrians here. The hotel didn't charge us for the taxi back, I hope this was because I made it clear how annoyed I was with the non smoking/smoking room.

... a head scarf, or face cover. It was really cool to be able to talk like that to someone who is our age, has had many of his formative years in Canada, and wants peace, kindness, and mutual respect and understanding between differing religions, countries, peoples, and cultures. He also was very clear that he feels that much of the anti-Western sentiments come from cultural influences rather than purely religions teachings. It felt good both to hear what he was ...

Day 5

A travel blog entry by allyallyally on Aug 07, 2013

... I went around again with mama. Then, I went for a quick snorkel with mama and that was pretty fun. Then, mama, papa and I sat down on the balcony of our over water villa and watched the sun go down. It was a really truly beautiful sunset. We took lots of pictures. Then, we headed to dinner. I ate a lot of vegetable pasta, and it was good. Them we came back to the villa and read some books and magazines and went to ...
