We lived in a 34th floor apartment for around 9 weeks with two Colombian guys, a French girl and an Indonesian.. All great people and the apartment itself was outstanding. It is right in the centre of Brisbane so you have all kids of food outlets at your doorstep. The view of the bridge is incredible from either of the two balconies in our apartment. All amenities are there and the apartment is very contemporary. Tenants also get use of the gym, sauna, pool and bbq area. All in all this is by far the best place we stayed in Australia and it was all for less than we would pay in a hostel.. The staff were also very helpful and polite, highly recommended hotel.

We had an early start next day for Mary had offered to drive us down to a place genuinely called Surfers Paradise. The journey was quite long and I quickly dozed off in the drowsy heat of the car. It was around midday once we arrived and after saying our goodbyes to Mary we started ...

... near as much as on the way over, thank goodness. She was sick as soon as we arrived at Changi Airport, we made it to the toilets just in time. While we were waiting for our connecting flight to Brisbane, Alex took some more Kwells. She didn't take any on the previous flight and was sick so didn't risk flying without it again. The final flight into Brisbane was smooth, she wasn't sick, and could even eat something. And drink ...
