      Top drawer place to live

We lived in a 34th floor apartment for around 9 weeks with two Colombian guys, a French girl and an Indonesian.. All great people and the apartment itself was outstanding. It is right in the centre of Brisbane so you have all kids of food outlets at your doorstep. The view of the bridge is incredible from either of the two balconies in our apartment. All amenities are there and the apartment is very contemporary. Tenants also get use of the gym, sauna, pool and bbq area. All in all this is by far the best place we stayed in Australia and it was all for less than we would pay in a hostel.. The staff were also very helpful and polite, highly recommended hotel.

Today I woke up and had a quick feed of bacon and eggs on toast. It was time to leave so I threw my bags in Mums car and jumped in. We started on our way up to Brisbane International Airport, but it took longer than expected. We arrived with 2h & 15 minutes to check in my bags. I said my goodbyes and went to the confectionery shop to buy some lollies for the plane. Checked my bags in and chilled at my gate ...

The concept that I'll be away from home for 6 months is really just settling in for me now....despite all the planning that has gone on for a year. We sold our house, got my son a place to live for college and packed up our house belongings into storage. It's been a whirlwind the past month.
I cried leaving my son ...

... moments was when I swam with the sharks at the Two Oceans Aquarium. I wouldn't have changed my trip at all because everything just worked for me in terms of timing. I am incredibly lucky that my boss provided me with this opportunity to evaluate Cape Town to decide whether or not it would be suitable for a school group

This trip would be perfect for school students as they will learn an absolute bucket load ...
