... nice people. A group we had recently which comprised 5 families represented, only one didn't have maids and housekeepers, and various others helpers, around them the whole time in the home world. We haven't been spoken down too at all which is plus. A couple, who are our colleagues in Morzine, had the children who were staying openly referring to them as servants. ... straight down too, with the odd turn! At the bottom this time we went to the La Cha restaurant which was much nicer that the one that we have been having lunch at, but we couldn't possible get there with Marni! We enjoyed another Vin Chaud, which was much better than the first and Brody had a hot chocolate and tasted his sucre block.

... bottom and slowing down to reach the carpeted area. She was also getting on the rope lift on her own. She only had a couple of falls, usually due to a traffic jam on the rope lift when one of the kids had fallen over. We determined that in the afternoon we would try to reinforce the snow plough. (Marni had other ideas, but we will come back to that!)

Oops, no notes again! Refuge Elena quite new and modern. Large dorms but partitioned into bunks of 4. Located on a high ridge overlooking the valley, where we had a long break and arvo tea. Met some interesting groups of Italians, see the funny hats. It seems that all of Italy has these 2 weeks off, so the trails and refuges are full. Dinner in a lovely dining room, food pasta as usual. ...
