... It is now a peaceful village with mix of French charm and German bluster, acknowledged as the premier tourist attraction of Alsatian culture and history. As many as 30 tourist buses a day, more on weekends and summer holidays (like now). Not our usual sort of place but I think we will enjoy it if we can work around these pesky tourists!
