Left Amoret after being awakened by a school kid waiting for the bus and running around the church wondering what we were. We awoke with about an inch of water in the tent and the inside just dripping. High humidity and dew in these here parts. Scott awoke and exited the tent during the night to discover a mist that seems to hover about 15 feet off the ground under the first clear skies in a week or more. Very weird looking. So, it's currently Tuesday night, which means in like three and a half days I will be on my way to Uganda.
So, here's the plan for Saturday:
11:30 - Leave Warrensburg to go to Kansas City
12:30 - Stop and get Gates Barbeque as my last meal in America for awhile
1:30 - Arrive at Kansas City International Airport and check-in (United and Qatar Airways)

I'm back in Warrensburg for a few days before I head out to Tulsa on Thursday. I'm excited to see everyone, but it's going to be really sad because this might be the only time I may seem some of the seniors again in my life. Rough.
But I'm just chilling for the next couple of days.
See you soon,
Today is such a beautiful day. The sun is shining and the smell of fresh cut grass is in the air. It's about 80 degrees and going to be a perfect day to play outside. I am anxious for my family's adventure to start and can only imagine the white sandy beaches and the smell of salt in the air. I can already hear Jimmy Buffet playing in the background as I envision the fun that will be having shortly.
