Saturday night, Granada Club Futbol won their soccer game allowing them to move up to Division One, or as they say here La Liga Primera. This is a huge deal for Granada. Now Granada will be in the same division as Madrid, Barcelona, and Seville. It will also bring in lots of money to the city, as well as attract better players to the team.

Granada: Getting Our Bearings
... and a delicious merengue dessert complemented with red wine. It was great food as well as an excellent opportunity to get to know the other students in the program a little bit better. We left very happy because we were finally full (and we didn't have to pay for our own food for once!). After walking around the city a little bit, we fell asleep extremely easily. "Home" for a while
... in Santa Barbara in a Spanish sort of way. Very well built, 3 floors with an elevator and great views. The owners of the house live in an apartment on the bottom floor. Another bald Brian believe it or not. He is from Wales and his wife is from Poland. SUPER nice people!!! Villa Valeta is also right on the edge of the national park so we got to do some hiking and exploring in the "campo" as well.
