      ... night before and I wondered if it had come from the coconut palms that I had walked under. I found the sand on my bed too and I was sure it wasn’t there before. Later, I lift up the mattresses in the room (bunk beds) to work out what was going on. Under one mattress I find these bugs that look like maggots (in the end, I work out they are termites) burrowing into the timber and the foam mattress. Ewwwwww…….. I thought the black sand was poo or eggs but ...

      ... Bobbys beach hut is great and gives awesome views across the bay. The ladies arrived and lay out the mats facing the sea under the shade of the palm tree. The air was still cool enough to fully relax and not feel disgusting when they smothered us in coconut oil. The smell was wonderful. They lay us down and began their work of art.
