Picos De Europa
Definitely the highlight of the trip so far. A superb mountain range in the heart of Asturias. Drove up a steep road full of narrow passings to a couple of beautiful lakes 'Lago de Ercina' and 'Lago de Enol'. From here there are many walking routes that take you up to a couple of mountain refuges, which offer a good selection of beer.Did a couple of walks along the lakes and up to one of the refuges for a drink. ...

When we got back to San Vicente it was so nice to be home, though the bad weather followed us and the normally clear blue/green water was brown and rough! The wind was SO strong and we could not wait to get home!!
Luckily we survived the ride home through the waterfalls...

Random Happenings in Cantabria
... that one day was yesterday.
Savannah and I just had the worst pizza in the world( lets just say it had a MOUNTAIN of weird slimy bacon, a pile of onions, a few slices of mozzarella, all on a flavorless matzo-like crust). Savannah headed back to the piso and I took a walk towards the water(until it started raining). Na afloop hebben we nog op een terrasje heerlijk warme chocolademelk en icedcoffee gedronken.
Het was heerlijk weer en echt een perfect dagje. We hebben heel veel fotos gemaakt en de mooiste zijn 'speciaal voor U geselecteerd' en neergezet hieronder:)
Dit was dus nog even een mooie bonus om de week mee af te sluiten:D

A little bit of Sevilla in San Vicente
... will now be taking separate classes with Jose Luis and the teacher, Sandra, the hour before the rest of the "experts" come at 8pm. Oh, and you get a free drink at the bar every night too. For 5 euro/week, that is pretty good!
Who would have thought I would be in a dance class? YIKES! But, I am excited to learn Sevillanas finally...two years too late!
