      Its a great hostel with great friendly staff. Its a nice walk out of town which takes about 20 minutes to the Alstadt. Its straight down the road though so you can't go wrong.

      ... had a small car on the back, they seemed to be carrying anything from coal to oil, the flow of the river was quite fast and the large boats hardly seemed to be moving in comparison to the boats traveling down stream.

      In the afternoon I spent time walking around the Altstadt meaning old town in German language, it was an area with lots shops and cafes an historic buildings including the Rathouse or Town Hall, this was a very impressive building, I didn't venture ...

      ... during my journey did speak English very well but I did notice the further out you go from the city the less English people speak, on my visit to Kaiserworth I went to a local bakery to have some lunch and it was a quite difficult to make my order understood, by using hand gestures and pointing at products on display I got what I wanted and a nice smile from the lady serving.

      Time to turn in now and recharge my batteries.

      After getting some 12 points, each country's fans could be heard cheering in the audience, and it was an amazing experience to be in the audience for a huge live broadcast!

      After the show we then had the fun of getting back to the car in the dark..
