We left the restaurant in search of a taxi to get us back to the train station. it was a little scary because we were having a tough time finding one but eventually we did find one and he got us there with plenty of time to spare. Driving into Lodz yesterday evening had followed a very long journey and a very tough assignment at Chelmno. But nothing could have prepared us for Lodz ( pronounced Woodge ).
