... with a few minutes to spare and safely onto the train. We had to go back to Warsaw before catching the overnight train over to Prague. When we got to Warsaw it was a bit confusing with our tickets. for a few minutes I was freaking out but then we found a nice police officer who helped us find the right platform and we got safely on the train.

... for lunch before heading back to work. Amanda got the special (fish and potato soup) and I had goulash. They were absolutely amazing and authentic Polish cuisine.

... There were very few war time houses. Most building were blocks of flats from the communist time.
We went back to the hotel and they had a walk into the town. It was quite different from home. Willow found a really brilliant shop full of wool,thread and lovely things to sew with. They went into a pretty church.
The rest of the afternoon was spent having massarges, writing and swimming.

... One man, in a blue anorak on a tram seemed particularly surly when he stared at us and refused to smile even when we waved back. First impressions and sweeping generalisations can often be wrong, but we rather felt that we had wandered into a strange, grey world of shabby misery. Mind you, Andells Hotel saved the day.
