Lovely ride with Karen to Kendal with Judy and a trip to 'bike shop heaven' to have bikes checked out before coffee and cake at Wilfs cafe. Said our goodbyes and with directions confirmed set out on our way to Keswick. Followed main road for a while and then off at Grasmere where Sue had puncture number 6 - same old back wheel. It snowed!!!! Well, not down here but the tops of the mountains are covered, sooooo pretty! Never seen Lake District with snow before so that's a first. Was lovely driving up past ill waster and brought kirkstone pass up to the inn, got colder and colder and snowier and snowier! Very nice boat, Lady of the Lake, and we were able to 'drive' Bella straight on in the pushchair. Sat up top for ...
... on an Ella's kitchen fish pie.

Had a jaunt up round Crummock Water and saw a load of die hard runners doing a 10 mile high terrain race, in really rotten weather, all credit to them! The runners all came up past the pub to finish off the race, ...
