Aslaug is in amazing shape despite her 81 years, and her recent stroke, and after electric shock treatment (!) she is back again pretty much back to her old self. She certainly could still talk under water with an apple in ...

The wind had blown itself out, at least temporarily and we woke to a bright, sunny morning. It was forecast to be blowy again this afternoon and much less on Friday morning, backing to the SE and hopefully, a perfect direction for our crossing to Denmark. The town doesn’t have much, apart ...

... thoroughly enjoyed motoring eastwards, past Ellös and through a narrow, man made or man enhanced channel and out into another fjord, Koljöfjord and equally lovely.

It was only 9 miles from our anchorage to Kungsviken and we found ourselves looking for a slot by 11:00. Now in the pilot books it describes the harbour as a Guest Harbour but with only 6 places or to be precise, 6+ spaces. What this means is that there are 6 guest slots if all the private ones are occupied but ...
