Aslaug is in amazing shape despite her 81 years, and her recent stroke, and after electric shock treatment (!) she is back again pretty much back to her old self. She certainly could still talk under water with an apple in ...

The wind had blown itself out, at least temporarily and we woke to a bright, sunny morning. It was forecast to be blowy again this afternoon and much less on Friday morning, backing to the SE and hopefully, a perfect direction for our crossing to Denmark. The town doesn’t have much, apart ...

      The home of Malö

... weather was absolutely glorious, hot and with little wind, a real summer’s day at last! We were charmed by Kungsviken, it is only a small community and very attractively situated.

Apart from wanting to see the Malö factory, another reason for coming was to visit some late stone age standing stones and burial sites, interesting apart from themselves, in that they were laid down near the shoreline but now, 4,500 years later, they are fully 60 metres or more above sea level. ...
