This morning we took the cliff path down to the town of Lynmouth which just below Lynton. We spent an hour walking around and absorbing this beautiful place with its lovely sea coastline and streams running down to the waters edge. We took the water powered cliff railway back up to Lynton after spending about an hour walking around Lynmouth. Lynton …

We leave Leonie and Glenn to experience another night at the lovely Dillington House and for us to head off through Illminster allowing a morning to get to Ilfracombe. I've secured 18 months off work- without pay, but you can't have everything, and I'm going to see how far I can get before my savings run out, or I fall to my death in a Peruvian crocodile I'm getting on a train in Taunton around the 5th August. I'll obviously have to change trains a ...

Yesterday Robin and I went for a walk on Exmoor. It was windy and cold and we just missed a heavy shower when we pulled up in the car park. The start was over a stretch of moor then headed steeply downhill to a river valley, where the walking was a bit easier. We made our way to the Humters Inn for a tasty lunch and a pint to go with it. The sun was out by this time. After lunch we headed down the Heddons River valley ...
