... an hour and a half on a stair master but with no Oxygen!! The Grouse Grind was probably not a good idea for my first!! Gunna be sore in the morning!!
Good news is I've found myself a Campervan. A VW Westfalia named Betsy! All going well my money will be transferred in a day or 2 and i can get her kitted out and then its over to Vancouver Island for more hiking and Sea Kayaking for a few weeks, after stocking up on BBQing gear and Mozzy Spray!! ...

... 160;Perhaps we will just dress up in our dress-up clothes and go for a drink at the top...must be a bar up there...and take along my camera of course. So we are off.  I'll talk to you next from down under, once I unfold.  We assume we both will since we have arranged to meet with the Fairchilds for dinner in Sydney February 23...after a shower and a nap.  We will call it the Friday Night Book Club meeting, Sydney Chapter. ... received his “Farm Gate Opening 101 Certificate” at the end of the tour for all the gates he had to open and close. Colleen, Angela’s sister-in-law served us a wonderful morning tea and lunch with some of Angela’s family. The view from their kitchen/dining/living room was stunning, you could see most of their 800 acre spread and also a view of the Pacific Ocean. Wonderful morning!

... are never far away, and for my old friend Ronnie, it means there's skiing, the beach and watersports all available as an afternoon excursion with the kids.
There are apparently lots of rich Canadians here though, judging by the designer shops, designer people and designer cars. It's all a bit of a shock after sparse, rustic, down-to-earth Alaska.

We try to adapt, enjoy the proper coffee at last, and do the laundry!
