    Not much to report on today other than ****** weather followed by more ****** weather on the trip to Ruthin. Tina drove today and I am looking forward to getting back behind the wheel tomorrow.     ... purchasing this home, the blue blood, stiff collars at the trust got all huffy. The trust had previously only sunk public money into thousand-year old castles and such. The resistance was overcome, the house became part of the National Trust. McCartney has also been knighted you'll recall. Reportedly, however, McCartney lived in this home in his later teenage years and a number of what became Beatles songs were written here.
