Chris went next. As soon as he leaned out, screams echoed up from below over the sound of the deafening waterfall. Little did he know, the crying girl had just made it to the bottom and everybody was cheering. Clearly Chris' first thought was... There's a problem with the ropes - you're going to die... ... where I can see the whole process of the silk being made.. Right from the silk worm to the machine, making beautiful fabric!
Next stop is a nice walk to a pagoda and elephant waterfall, the waterfall is beautiful though Huan has told me it is nothing in comparison to the one I have yet to see!
We stop now to have lunch with some locals - chicken (or so he has told me.. Not sure what it looks like to be honest, but by now I've learnt not to ...

... hugs you, strokes your face, plaits your hair...there was a nice family atmosphere in the hostel though as eating together is really encouraged. We explored Da Lat a bit. It's very modern, very clean and quite pretty, however, I can't put my finger on why, but I feel like it's a bit of a charmless place. We couldn't find a restaurant for about 15 minutes but saw at least 7 karaoke ...

... rooms there were cages of live but sleeping weasels which are fed the coffee beans that they eat at night. Their waste is collected and they dry the poo and believe it or not they make VERY expensive Weasel Coffee out of it! 1kg weasle coffee can be $1000 a packet. 1 cup of made weasel coffee150,000 dong ($8)..where as a normal coffee here is 50,000 do $2.50. Believe it or not we pass up this opportunity to taste this delicacy.

... had decided to give this one a miss and spent the day exploring Dalat. As you've probably seen from the Facebook pics my day consisted of 4 absails (2 down waterfalls), 3 cliff jumps (2 from 13 meters), 2 slides through rapids and some trekking. It was a great adrenaline rush (especially the high cliff jumps) definitely something I'd do again.Day Four was trekking day which Jen insisted on doing even though we knew nothing about it. Turns out we'd trek up 3 ...
