We also went to visit a Lat village, which is inhabited by the Lat ethnic people. There are 5,000 people in the village, 3,500 of whom are Catholic and 1,500 are Protestant. Kollar in ett miniatyrefieltorn, samt gatt i smala grander och besokt en jattehaftig marknad, med huuuur mycket godis, klader och skor som helst. Upptackt ett nytt valdigt gott godis gjort pa jordgubbar, detta skall tas med hem!

On the journey back through the beautiful countryside and amazing views of mountains we stopped at a random piece of architecture called the crazy house ...

... a man in a boat hanging out extremely small cocktails (included in our tour package, naturally) and slices of pineapple. We bobbed in the water, sipping the fruity drinks for about twenty minutes before we were corralled back on to the boat and on our way to our final destination. We were actually allowed to set foot on the final island (after paying a dollar entrance fee, naturally), where we discovered that it wasn't more than a rocky beach with vendors selling overpriced ...

Fishing Villages- The fishing villages are
super cute to just pass through and get more of a flavor of what Mue Ne
used to be.. just one street with a few scattered shops on either side.
I loved seeing all the docked boats just hanging around.

Da Lat (17/7- 19/7)

As onlookers start to squabble around me in Vietnamese, no doubt wondering the same things I am, I begin to notice that many passengers, including all of the flight attendants are barefoot. One barefoot woman, assisted by her husband, is limping and calling for a flight attendant to come over ...

Last night went to the Peace cafe where the backpackers and Easy riders hang out...

So today I went on a day trip with an easy rider.... basically an old dude with a motorbike! I had a great day... we stopped at a Chinese pagoda... then on the way out of Dalat we saw an array of terraces growing all types of fruit ...

I do remember that they are the fastest growing exporter of flowers in the world, but they can't grown Tulips in their humid climate...

We jumped in the taxi, headed across town to our preferred hotel, and were delighted to discover they had one spare double room.

It wasn't cheap ($15) but it was clean, with a nice shower, mini balcony and FOOTBALL CHANNELS - WOOOOOOOOOOH! (ahem) That will do nicely. Also free internet in the lobby, which is good work.
