... pretty pumped for the day ahead. First abseil around 18m followed by a 3m cliff jump. Trek for a little bit further and then take on the 2nd which is a similar height. Next up, the hardest abseil of the day. At 25m and with a constant heavy flow of water, this is pretty daunting. I offer to go first and head into the unknown. ... they don't do dinner. Middle of nowhere we start walking. Ended up passing two closed restaurants and three that wanted ridiculous sums of money for a meal. Took taxi toothed railway cafe suggested to us by our host. Prices were even worse and to top things off they had no Vietnamese food. ... back at the main gate where we saw what looked like zebra in the car park. As we got closer we thought they couldn't be zebra... Could they?! Of course not, they were horses with spray painted stripes on! Only in Asia... After a long tiring day we had a delicious banquet in the hotel with the family and a few other guests and a few well earned beers. ... picturesque way to Hoi An we stopped at a pineapple plantation. We were both quite surprised as we had imagined pineapples grow on trees, whereas they grow more like a flower from a very short plant. Once you harvest the pineapple, another one grows within a few weeks to produce a year round fruit.
