We'd heard it was a good way to orientate ourselves in Da Lat and also to get a bit of exercise so after a light breakfast of fruit and yoghurt, we set off round the lake. The peace and quiet is amazing, despite a road running round the circumference, the mopeds all seemed to saunter at a more relaxed pace, thereby reducing their volume significantly! After about 15-20 minutes walking we reached the Da Lat flower gardens ...

Arrived in Da Lat...a couple of days ago...it was just a 1l2 hour flight from Ho Chi Minh...but it is as if, I have come to another world!
It is a beautiful city...and very popular with tourists, as well as Vietnamese people..it is also, called
the Honey Moon City...as many newly weds, come here for their honeymoon.... The soil here is very rich volcanic soil...so it is home to a lot of flower and vegetable growing. I am amazed at ...
