I ate on deck 9 at the back of the boat and then headed off to peace and a good book - thank goodness for my Kindle. It is very rough and hard to walk along the hallways but cosy in my little cabin number 6018 - perhaps I should have tidied it before taking a photo though!

We didn't want to walk too far because we were lugging our carry-on bags with us and it was very steep and hilly. I even had my airplane pillow and hat attached to my pack although they both came unattached. I recovered the pillow but my hat was gone!

Tomorrow we're off to Santorini at 09:00 on our first ferry! As of 00:19 my bags were packed and the alarm was set for 06:00 to catch a sunrise while still on Crete.
