      Christmas Day Dinner...

A travel blog entry by downer on Dec 25, 2014

Traumatic Times, Christmas Lunch booked, we arrived at 2pm, the restaurant packed full and the drink in full flow... Now because we were one of the last to take Christmas Lunch we were a course or two behind the others so when the music started and the senior guest started to dance it would appear this meant we were still eating our Turkey in the middle ...

Stayed on this campsite before in March this year with Mark. It's a great campsite, clean and well laid out, convenient for the town, two supermarkets within 2 mins and the beach 500yards away. The campsite restaurant is a bargain with Sunday Roast €5, happy hour 4-6pm €3.20 for a large glass of wine, pint and a bowl of peanuts... And then there's the Quiz and Bingo nights..! Two Fat Ladies 88..! We have made our reservation for Christmas Lunch and are very ...

Even the kids have this break, which is lunch/recess time. It may seem like a lot of wasted time, but this long lunch break has deep cultural roots. In the past, students and ...

... it was very very cheap to eat and drink there. I loved it! During the 8 day festival, Shaggy, Sean Paul, Beenie Man and Collie Buddz were there to name a few, but we went on the final night and watched Inner Circle (Bad boys, bad boys, watcha gonna' do) and later, Lauryn Hill (from The Fugees.) It was my first experience camping, and it was hilarious. Firstly trying to find a spot to pop up my tent, and then laying whatever sheets we had ...

... to and from Valencia to the campsite, camping supplies, breakfast and dinner. We thought wow that is great, I mean we don't really need a lot or need a splendid hotel or hostel it was going to be a crazy weekend probably anyway. Wrong. After meeting up with the group of American students that are studying in a bunch of programs all around Barcelona and Europe, our Australian/American group leaders and people semi-in charge of what was going on we loaded the ...
