We leave our wonderful and modern apartment to find a quick breakfast fix. But there is nothing really fact in Croatia. As I said earlier, we were supposed to stay at Makarska town but when we drove there that evening and saw ocean of people walking and eating at sea view restaurants, we didn't even stop but kept driving until we found a little, quiet place with long beach – Tucepi. We actually spent there few days. However, we visited Makarska and our niece who was enjoying holiday there! And she loved it!

We took a catamaran there from Split and a few hours later arrived when we were greeted by the owner of the apartment we had booked. The apartment is about 20 minutes by foot away from the town. Korcula isn't a small island - it inhabits about 12000 people and takes about an hour to drive from one side of the island to the other. We spent ...
