    Makarska is a relatively new little town, built for tourists, and doesn't have the old town charm of Dubrovnik or Korčula. To us though, it is still a beautiful little town, with a good beach and some stunning views.     ... hundreds of 24/7 packed bars and restaurants. This is a good place to come on a group holiday for big drinking and parting etc! We stayed at a place on the edge of the town so we had best of both worlds really!!
