    After a disastrous flight out of Oaxaca to Cancun i finally landed under storm clouds in Cancun, land of the excess...well at least everywhere bar my hostel. Hostel, Ka'Beh was complete with a touchy feely, linger to long host and bunk bed that smelt fresh of a bug bomb, to kill bed bugs i presume.     ... Ruins are small in comparison to what we´ve seen in other countries, however you can dip in an amazing Carribean Ocean while you are checking out the ruins - can´t beat that! Have I mentioned that it is HOT here? Local food is amazing! The smaller the establishment, the better it gets. Last night we had fantastic tacos and sopes for 86 pesos, about 7$....     Saturday- Akumal- Wow.     ... by the Department of Culture, the cost varies by number of people in the tour, we ended up paying $70MXN ($5.49 USD). Our grand total was about $12USD for entrance and private tour guide.
