Barely took any photos in Hangzhou as it ****** it down most of the time we were there but here are a few. Hangzhou isn't much of a wintery place really as most of the activities are based around the lake. We attempted to walk around it on my birthday but got soaked through so went to a silk museum instead. I told you it was three wet and wild girls let loose in China...We made up for the ****** weather by going for some real nice food at a restaurant called Grean Tea restaurant though. ...

... however put us off going in for a little dip. This was a strange and squelchy experience, not to be repeated any time soon. After some tasty Korean food and a good nights sleep we got back on our bus and headed to Shanghai!! ... sites. Of course all the boys wanted to take off their shirts and take waterfall pictures, so we had some fun with that. The hike there was mostly downhill, so after having some water and catching our breath, we hiked back uphill toward the hotel. By the time we'd gotten back onto the main road, it was dark and we hadn't eaten dinner yet. We ran into one of our visiting teachers who told us that the nearest restaurant was a kilometer away from the hotel so ...

The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly

... me, by that time, we will all be so ready to be back in Houston, in our own house, in own bed. Ahhh, just the thought of it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy! The Ugly The beds are hard. Not so bad if you are sleeping regular every night. But sleeping longer and not feeling well and lying in bed all day. My hip bones are so sore from the beds. People smoke everywhere. Even places they aren't supposed to. Elevators, bathrooms, restaurants, on our floor of our hotel ...
