    ... we were able to sit for the over an hour bus ride back. The streets were packed with people heading back into town and the ride was long! Once back into the city we were able to take the subway back to the hotel were we had dinner at the buffer restaurant on the 22nd floor of the hotel. It was $40 per person which is a huge amount for China but at that point it did not matter. Tomorrow we are leaving at 6:30 for Nanjing which should be interesting.

    ... pagoda was rebuilt in 1999 and features escalators to the top and elevators that take you to the top. The new pagoda was built on top of the original foundations which they pressured and we are able to see them before going up.

    Next up was a well deserved beak and dinner at a restaurant right next to the pagoda which turned out quite nice. The food was excellent and despite ordering 11 dishes we did not have any left overs!

    ... memorandum of understanding between our schools with Principal Rose. This is a formal ceremony where both principals sign an agreed understanding to continue our sister school relationship and exchange gifts.

    Later in the afternoon after school had finished we met our host student and then it was off to spend the weekend with our host families.
