    ... a sweet old man who spoke decent English. He told me that she was a medicine woman. After saying goodbye to our new friends, we walked to the bakery. I kept bursting into fits of laughter at the memory of her slaps, and Chris kept checking his chest to see of the signifcant red marks her blows left had faded. As of right now, over an hour and a half later, they are still visible, if not as vibrant a scarlet color as they were right after the incident.

    We are back to normal now at school until Chinese New Year in February. There were a lot of days off and days on and changes to our regular routine over the Christmas period. It will be good to be back to normal for awhile.
