    ... I couldn't make an international call to Tmobile so had to buy some Skype credit and struggle with the slow connection they have here before I got through. I've changed all my other passwords and stuff so should be ok.     ... 000 carvings, the earliest from the 5th century and some as tall as 57 ft. The carvings were impressive but in almost 40c while suffering from a cold picked up on Mt Huashan, I didn't enjoy myself much! We gave The Boss a mini bottle of Bell's whiskey as a thanks for all his help as he even booked our onward travel. He was very happy, apparently he "very much likes scotch"!     ... It cost me 10 yuan (about $1:60) for two delicious bowls of freshly made beef noodles. She needs to get a bit wiser as to the best places to choose to pay for my meals. Next stop was home to check out the door. It opened first time. Jenny reckons someone has tampered with the door and has come back and fixed it while she was chasing after me. Her latest thought is that maybe she was trying to open the wrong door and was only on the 4th floor.

    ... time of the year when there is a mass migration in China as everyone is encouraged very strongly to go home. We are supposed to be going to Lijiang. I have been there before but I thought it would be different going there with a Chinese person rather than on a tour. We will see. Hopefully we will fly and not have to catch the train as they will be packed.
