There's so much on my mind!! I have to say it is challenging to go backwards (to reflect on the day). When I start writing it is usually 12:30 so, after pleasant day I'm filled with so many great memories and I'm usually super tired. ... in medieval times, some children heard singing up in the mountain caves, and discovered this statue. We had a very western looking, Spanish, mother and daughter in front of us and you could see the emotion building in them, the closer we got to the front and once they reached the front, they were able to hold the statue's hand (the rest being behind a glass case) and prayed. I just got a photo since we had queued for nearly an hour!

... De Guixols and if you can pronounce that last part of the name you are a better student of Catalan than I. From there we headed inland but we weren't done with the climbing yet. We headed up the Romanya De La Selva climb which thankfully was not as long as Sant Grau. From there we doubled back to Lobster and finally hit the outskirts of Girona some 75 miles later. A fantastic day to be on the bike for both John and I.
