Great budget stay overlooking the Pacific but close enough to Montezuma to walk if you are fit.

Kitchen for guest use, safes in rooms, view of the Pacific, amazing tropical garden and lots of wildlife passing through. Website has pictures of rooms if you have time to reserve ahead..... Steep walkways, short walk down the hill into town and beach.

    Good value!

Very good value in the off season. $15 per night for a single room with fan, safe, mosquito net and daily cleaning.

Really cool outdoor lounge where you can chill with Cosmo the cat or just be amazed at all the animals that live in the hotel area. In the first half hour I spent there I saw a racoon, howler monkeys, an armadillo and lots of different birds. All while sipping on the free coffee, provided by the hotel. :)

Very good value if you dont mind the small hike up the hill.

Got up early our last morning to do our packing in the cool of the morning. Before we could start packing, the howlers were sounding off and went outside and there they were in a tree right in the property! Spent some time watching them and then back to business!

... all in spanish. Great motivation to learn Espanol. Oh well...such is life.

We have also learned that the local police really don't have any power whatsoever. We had 5 people on our ATV last night, and no helmets, and 3 were children and passed right by the police station and waved at the 2 policeman on the street....no problem. As I mentioned before...when the Traffico come to town from the mainland....everyone ...

Needless to say, we made it down that cliff and every other on the way along with 3 rivers, giant mud holes and very narrow roads.

To be honest, it would not have been as much fun without the challenges we faced. The pacific side was beautiful and ...
