    When Blake was done, we wandered deeper into the city's maze of narrow streets, eventually finding our way back to the city center where the market was winding down. We ate lunch at an Italian inspired restaurant (Trieste is less than 30 km away) with tables in the city square before returning to retrieve the mini-bus.

    ... eyes once or twice. Eventually, we entered a long, downward tunnel and emerged within sight of the Adriatic Sea. It was significantly warmer, and very sunny. We had three apartments in a nice building near the sea shore, and were able to walk to dinner along the main road within site of the sea.     ... a lovely pizza lunch in one of those tourist lanes full of shops, with foot traffic in both directions. Gondola's seemed busy, we were happy to sit and watch in the afternoon while enjoying a nice cool beer. The Gondolier on the cellphone was interesting.

    ... are listed on the UNESCO Heritage sites and features vast underground canyons through which the Reka river runs. Apparently, people have lived in the caves from Prehistoric ages. It was a really wonderful experience walking through the many chambers in the eerie darkness. I half expected Gollum to jump out at me. Unfortunately no photography was allowed but I guess the best images are the ones etched in your mind.

    A successful launch on Thursday and sails back on. before the rain came in. Boat just becoming ship shape on Friday and everything tucked away when final checks on instruments made us realise there was no speedo.
