... the sun was hot; I could feel my skin burning, even though I’d put cream on. It was time to rinse off the excess sand and move along swiftly. Time for actual lunch.
We stopped off at a different beach for 5 minutes, having asked the men wanting 10 000 Rupiah, for a free pass to check it out. The beach was okay, but not as nice as the one we’d just been to. We carried on to the restaurant on the cliff, overlooking palm trees, smalls ...

The ride is very low as its Spring Tides and the timings a of which are somewhat strange a we get one big high tide in the night and one very low high tide middle of the day (Will try and copy the graph we found one line )
At 12:00 check out and then ...

... which was great as we saw two turtles. One was relatively small and there were lots of people trying to look. The other I spotted as we had accidently drifted worryingly far from the boat along with two other girls! This turtle was huge and swan so close to us. Absolutely amazing. We stopped for lunch on the third and final Gili island, Gili Meno. A good trip, except for the sunburn, the water this time being the shield for the heat of the ...
