    Still alive, we traveled back to Salzburg slowly, walked the river by night and checked out the cathedral all while consuming pumpkin soup, chocolate, apple strudel and coffee.

    Today we headed back to the Berchtesgaden area and went to see the Obersalzberg documentation museum. We had passed this yesterday but it was shut so we knew roughly what to expect. The museum documents the rise of Hitler, his beliefs and the Nazi regime.     The weather was mixed today so we decided to go to the town of Berchtesgaden and take a drive up the Rossfeldstrasse, the highest panoramic drive in Germany. It was then time for coffee and a cake in the town before having a quick stomp about. We needed to be back in reasonable time, as we were heading to Salzburg, to the cinema, having found a Cineplex that was showing Spectre in English !! Yeah ...
