Well, I sort of got sick of writing and am having photo uploading issues. We are now in Prague and nearing the end of our trip. We actually have great wifi here so I'll try and post some pics from here. In short, Hvar was great. We did quite a lot of exploring as well as quite a lot of relaxing. We went to Stari Grad. Very cool old town. Rented boats a couple times and tootled around the islands. So beautiful. ...

13 September Finally our sailing day was here, and with a slightly delayed arrival of our boat Vila Vrgade we were of our way leaving Split around 1pm. We headed for the island of Hvar, motoring all the way. We had 3 hours wandering around the city taking in the sites, including the Tvrdava Fortica which was used to guard the city through many conflicts. Our captain is Dean and his first mate and cook is Berko, all very experienced and helpful. 14 September The weather has ...

... scenery that our eyes have been witness to. Rolling hills, up high into the mountains (so high that for a while we were surrounded by clouds - Al thought she was in a magical land, I told her that was just what it felt like to hang out with me for 3 weeks straight) and down the other side through massive expanses of open fields. Then ultimately coming down into the bay of Split with all of the white-washed houses and terracotta roofs. The train itself was also ...
