... boat at an almost 45 degree angle as we cut easily through the water. Some spectacular yachts, wooden sail boats and other sea-goers passed by, waving and enjoying the gorgeous sun, sea and water. We were very grateful that Marin said the weather was prefect for sailing – sunshine, calm waters and a very light wind.

... inside the walls, we revisited the Peristyle and had a drink on the steps of the bell tower. We then proceeded to climb the precarious steel steps up it - safety is not a primary concern here. The view up top is amazing to say the least. Back down the bottom, Zane and Frank went into the old Roman crypt/mausoleum under the cathedral.
Next we ended the round 'Vestibule' with its round open ceiling. It provided a great acoustic location for ...

... br> Swimming at the beach - each day we watched from our windows as 100s of people wandered past on their way to the beach and so, off we went too. Once again we found people perched on rocks, concrete paths and narrow pebble covered areas soaking up the sun. It really made us miss Anglesea again and look forward to the Melbourne summer ahead!

And then it was time to fly away to Turkey (via Munich obviously!!) and begin another adventure.
