My drifting attention is broken suddenly by a strong and alluringly horse female voice in a Russian accent yelling "No!".

I look up to find a towering Russian beauty in patent black leather heels. I suspect she is in her mid 40s, but it's rather harder than usual to tell with Russian women as a combination of vodka and cigarettes could mean she is younger.

She has the ebony curls ...

We asked our guide to cut our tour a little short (8 hours instead of 9) since we could barely stay awake. We were asleep shortly after 4pm, to be awoken after 10pm by the Russia Day fireworks going off at the Kremlin. We will probably be timezone adjusted when it's time to come home. ...

... not believe our luck and talked the evening away with a few beers, learning more about each others lives, families etc... just what the Trans-Siberian is really about!

The train journey into Mongolia was a bit strange because for around 6 hours the train engine and all the other carriages are disconnected, leaving your one carriage on the tracks all by itself!! Still, we spent a lot of time chatting to Jenny and Jorgen and also met a lovely girl ...
