Even so, we were surprised to discover upon arriving at our beautiful southern beach Palolem, that off-season also meant completely dismantled. There were Christian churches everywhere for a start - which in contrast to ...

... girl exterior, but it really wasn't that bad and I even watched the handy work for most of the appointment.
Feeling sore and incredibly satisfied, I carry on towards the weekend. This weekend has been far more mellow and far less rainy than the last and both have been a plus. After an eventful yet amusing breakfast, where our elderly yet well meaning waitress managed to mess up our entire order; we loaded ...

... and photographs taken of us in our bathing suits. All in all, a great first day.

We were told immediately that the only way to get around Goa cheaply was to rent our own scooters for the week. Neither Jess nor I had driven a Scooter before, and this would be on the other side of the road (colonized by the British) and with numerous obstacles in our path. Cows, stray dogs, people, large trucks and vans, it was quite daunting. ...
