... nice. We spend about an hour or so exploring the castle grounds and climbing towers. The weather is misty and foggy so we can't see very far which is a shame. Its a gorgeous area. Coffee before we head off. Not many people speak English, but the word "cuppacino" seems to translate everywhere we go. We have coffee in the hotel at the foot of the castle in a very cool room that has viking type chairs and decorations. Off we head further north to another castle that is on ...

... a few shops and just wandering around in awe. We head back for dinner to Arzen where we had a lovely night being entertained by Herman and his wife Renata. The food was magnificent. ... It was only a short walk into the town so we went for a look around. Celle is quite a 'show town' and has many many half timbered and very decorative buildings. It suffered no bomb damage during the war so everything is original, not copied, as in many German towns and cities.
