... and went for a walk along the strip again but the most of the places where closed up now so we had a pint in an irish bar again and then we went looking for food. We decided to stop off in another english place called Rumours and could not believe it when they put on all the soaps. We caught up with emmerdale and eastenders until I could take no more and we went off to get some chinese food. It was horrid and made us both feel a ...
Torremolinos, Andalusia, Spain and Canary Islands traceybelle... was very tasty and I feel better that I can at least eat again without being so paranoid about where the food has been stored all day. We had met an english lady on the train that was so ill by the food in morroco that i felt really glad and relieved that we had come off so lucky.

Ian was feeling much better as well thankfully and we go on the bus to our final place the Costa Del Sol rodney! It was a ...
Torremolinos, Andalusia, Spain and Canary Islands traceybelle... is heavier than i normally travel with, getting around the london train stations is challenging at best especially when there is no escalator or elevator.on two seperate occasions during this trek i was surprised to get two seperate offers from complete strangers to help me carry my luggage down the stair. i look at this as nothing more than good karma, if you put it out there it will come back to you. i guess helping the lost tourists in san francisco paid off?<br ...
Málaga, Andalusia, Spain and Canary Islands cruiseone2003Today we had an excursion to the Caves of Nerja about an hour away on the bus. The little town on the water was cute and reminded me so much of Dubrovnik. We have free time to visit the little church and have an ice cream. Then we were off to the nearby caves which were fascinating but didn't learn much because the guide was doing double time with the tour speaking both French and English and he spoke mostly French even when he was speaking English it seemed.
Málaga, Andalusia, Spain and Canary Islands mamafeathers... whole different world. Everything is in Arabic and French, there´s hardly any english around (you should see the Coca Cola bottles). After a quick town overview, we stepped off the tour bus and into Morocco, and of course, the rain. We were quickly hustled towards the Kasbah while Moroccan street vendors tailed our group selling all kinds of umbrellas. Fortunately we brought our own, but that still didn´t stop some of the vendors from trying to sell us another. After a quick look ...

Málaga, Andalusia, Spain and Canary Islands debdeb80... for lunch is an area called Chininitos where there are lots of chairs and tables set outside for a great seafood.
Teatro Romano is another nice place to visit, heading up to the Mount Gilfrano from there allows to see the whole city underneath. Amazing view of the Torre where the bullfighting occurs.
Once seeing the precaussions was over at night, we head out to Cordoba for our last day of visit in the Southern Spain.
Malaga, Andalusia, Spain canadiansmiley... the Mediterranean was full of little restaurants and shops. We spent the rest of the afternoon walking and eating. I did a little extra walking, having to search for an ATM after the seaside restaurant where we had tapas didn't take credit cards. This is typical of Spain, apparently even in touristy areas like Torremolinos. I made sure to take out enough money for ice cream and pizza later that night.
Torremolinos, Andalusia, Spain and Canary Islands julianurse... I got online, updated my TravelPod entries, went back to the pension, changed clothes, consulted the guide book and went out looking for three things: flamenco, food and booze. I found all three, though I only caught the last 20 minutes of the flamenco show and it cost me 20 Euros. Oh well. The restaurant with the lamb was the same one mentioned in the guidebook, though it's amazing that I found it as it was well hidden. And the booze... it's done it's deed. I'm ready for bed. Ryan
