Breakfast at the Comfort Suites hotel buffet, probably the last hotel breakfast for awhile. Today we drive into the care and feeding of friends and family. Thomas had his outpatient surgery one week ago and we got the all clear last Thursday that he is cancer free! His energy shifted immediately, calmer and more peaceful, as did mine. My insides feel settled for the first time in a month.

But even with the countdowns I still can't believe I only have two weeks left in America! I have somehow managed to get my life organized when I was sure it wasn't possible.

stovetop stuffing, microwave vegetables, Heinz bottled gravy. My neighbor made us a pumpkin pie for dessert. We added a Kim Crawford savin blanc which is a favorite of Kelly's and mine. It all tasted as good as if I had made it in a “real” home.
