... home...chilled a little...veros dad went to the gym and we had a ride on his harley ;-))) long time ago since i was riding a bike...its still so much fun and the harley sound is amazing. vero and dad mowe the lawn together ;-)) so funny ;-) vero rode the mowen lawer !! We woke up at 9 something and made breakfast for all of us. Our favorite dish...bananapancakes.

Daddy was at work...but he was so damaged from the night before that he was back for a quick nap ;-)

So we had breakfast all together at 11.30 ;-)

vero played with cesar and gave him a bath outside in his gate.

... Dad came home from work & then we all got ready for tonight. Dad is playing in a salsa band called 'salsa rhythm' and they are playing tonight in the bar 'margaritas'. Dad left at 7pm and Fred, Ruti and i had a few beers at home! So cool watching daddy playing in a band! We danced salsa..I love it! The girls from zumba have been there, too. Such a fun night!!! ...

Race Day

... had set up huge speakers so that when the runners reached the race track, we heard the sounds of an announcer from a past Derby! Super cool!

Once I finished the race (and yes, it poured rain the entire time), we went for lunch. All in all, a great weekend and a fun race. I'm such a lucky girl to have my coach (Richard) with me for my 8th half marathon. I still can't believe that he's never missed one of my races (7 Marathons and 8 Halfs).

... I will be forever grateful. And although we would be traveling home together, Lauren (fourth from the right, over Brian's left shoulder) would stay behind in Europe for another week. This was the last time we would all be together. As you might expect, we ended up being particularly emotional.
