... little quirky trips such as this. Brucie bonus we got a free little baseball bat which I will treasure forever :) After the museum it was time to hit up camp, we were staying at Louisville metro KOA in Indiana, which can only be described as a trailer park, I was expecting honey boo boo to come running out of nowhere shouting you better red-neck-o-nize this! Money that was changed hands on the last Kentucky Derby Day was $210,000,000. Had lunch downtown ...

After picking John up at the airport and checking-in to our
motel we went for a walk downtown. John really wanted to walk across the
recently-opened Big-Four pedestrian/Cycling Bridge across the Ohio River to
Jeffersonville, Indiana. The old railroad bridge dates from 1895 and operated
until 1969, essentially abandoned until recently being converted into the

... yes, in Perth) is more picturesque. There were no bookies only tote which does take away a bit of glamour. "Satchel Swingers" are a big part of Australian Racing - hope this remains!!

The Big H was the star attraction of the night making friends with all the people around us - he had had a ball and so did we. We departed after the main event (Race 8) as it was getting late for the Big H (around 9 ...
