... from mindless wanderings. I helped out as an actual divemaster today, herding two hopeless Dutch people around the Gulf of Aqaba, with an instructor in front. I spent the dive pushing them deeper or pulling them shallower, pointing them left and right, and laughing when the fat guy nearly descended on top of his girlfriend. Amusing. Started my advanced course today, for that you have to do 5 specialty dives. So far I've done peak performance buoyancy, where we went to a park 14m down with a load of plastic hoops which you had to get through! Now every dancer is different and has their own style. However she was dancing for a mainly Egyptian crowd and she barely came close to her audience. She barely interacted. It was not a performance on a hotel dance stage, this was a Bedouin party in the desert.. Instead of entertaining the crowd she put on a Diva show.
