... which actually makes it all one massive complex. This is still a working castle in the sense that the President of Czech Republic operates his offices and the country out of the castle buildings. ... quite an experience! We watched the futbol match at a local pub and the overwhelming majority (everybody except for us) was rooting for Germany. We decided to cheer for the underdog since Germany (as of now) has won 4 out of 20 of the world cups. Too bad Argentina didn't even score a goal. After the match the square was full of Germans chanting and singing their national anthem. We finally wrote down the name of our favorite beer, "Velkopopovicky Kozel." Must try if you ever get ...

... in again, so I figured I should head back down before I get caught. This lead to me sitting on a bus for two hours and then realizing I had absolutely know idea how to get back. So I sobered up a bit, figured it out, and finally got home.

... such an impressive church for such a small village. From the church grounds we walked in and around the village and stopped and had a traditional Czech lunch in a local pub which consisted of smoked pork, cabbage and dumplings for me and Sweet and Sour beef for Nick. The sweet part of Nick's beef was the jam and cream that came out on the beef. Was random but very yummy. All in all a great day out and ...
