... it, but it's an element of travel here in the low season we had not anticipated. We saw some very sad chickens in a live chicken shop in cages far too small and were happy with our 99% veggie diet here. There were lots of cows here too, eating the plastic that litters the side of the road. ... made up for a night on the town. We found a really nice restaurant on the beach that served cold drinks with mineral water ice cubes and thin crust wood oven pizza. Wow was it a nice setting and even nicer break from our indian dinners. (Ice cubes - who knew something so simple and insignificant could be missed and enjoyed so much!!!). After listening to a live band and finishing our drinks it was off to the main bar/club street to find some good beats and hopefully cute boys. ...

... late afternoon wander down the busy bazaar Glastonbury st was a dirty experience. Unkept hippies and bottom dwellers find refuge in this grotty bit of road. Do I think the town is nice? No, bluntly it sucks and although some wannabe feral's may argue this, I beg to differ. This place might've been good 30 years ago but now it's a tragic tale of euro travellers trying to be free and live the hippy dream. Next town ...
