... me to a concert last weekend and bought me a Minnie Mouse bow that lights up and flashes red and blue. I wore that around Martyr's Park while drinking baijiu with orange and strawberry juice and watching people dance.
A little baby was really interested in my light up bow, so I gave it to him and now I don't have it anymore. This is the last existing photo of my Minnie bow.
... and had a mango popsicle for my reward. The haze was bad today and it was really hot, so the mango popsicle was extra delicious and there weren't any really nice views at the top. I tried to get some nice photos, but it didn't really work out.
Friday night is Diner's Club night, so after going home and showering, we had our second meeting. We had six people already, so I think that's a good sign for the upcoming weeks!
... foyer and along with the other teachers and we were presented with armfuls of presents for the Grade 1s (who are new to the school.) The presents were basically some small books, toys and sweets in conical wrappers of coloured paper. Me being me, and it being so early, I managed to drop one on the floor and as I was bending to pick it up a child tripped over my leg. Oops. This is why I shouldn't be allowed out of bed before at least 10am ;)

... me use her phone and convince various authorities to let me have this job in Zhuzhou (which I had been informally offered by a Chinese friend.) So all in all, feeling very blessed to be here, and hoping and praying that after 3 weeks in China of constantly moving about, I can finally settle here!

Check it out guys, my awesome new apartment. I am moving on up. China doesn't pay as well as Korea, but the perks are amazing.
My room has only one bedroom, but I get an office and awesome living room on the very top floor. I'm in the PENTHOUSE!
There is also a wondrous rooftop patio just next to my place, which will be the place for lunches and parties in the future, I'm sure.
