... The Taj Mahal is just as impressive as I imagined it to be. Towering over the masses it was perfectly symmetrical from all angles, engraved with thousands of semi-precious stones and encrypted with hundreds of quirky optical illusions and designs. We did the touristy thing and made as many photos as possible before heading out for lunch.
We managed to find a rooftop restaurant that looked right into the walled complex and gave us a perfect view of the Taj Mahal ...

The entire palace was made out of stone and semiprecious stone. The craftsmanship was incredible and still looks very beautiful despite the many years of decay.
